Shopping for Foreclosed Properties?
Yahoo Real Estate now features a section devoted to foreclosed properties. The new Yahoo site offers potential buyers an analysis of trends in the foreclosure market and provides some market information and how-to tips.
As of the first of April, the site lists 569,347 available homes, with an averages sales price of $165,780. Yahoo provides basic info, but specific addresses will require a subscription.
Foreclosures, rose 42 percent from 2005 to 2006, according to RealtyTrac. Other sites in the foreclosure market include Foreclosure.com, Foreclosurefreesearch.com, Foreclosuredeals.com, and Realestateforeclosures.net.
