Quick Pics - Latest Wildlife Mystery

It's that time again! We've got ourselves a mystery!

This morning, my mom found an antler sitting in the driveway. Thinking that it would make an interesting article for the blog, she picked it up and brought it inside. In doing our research however, we've discovered that deer typically shed their antlers in January - February, rarely some make it to early May.

If the deer have already lost their antlers, where did ours come from?

Early speculation suggested that someone planted the antler in our driveway. (But that's just silly... Right?)

Latest speculation has suggested that a different animal, such as a dog or cat, picked it up craving the calcium, and was spooked into dropping it in our driveway.

Any ideas?
