Lake of Four Seasons Lowered

Hide-A-Way Hills Club has begun to lower the Lake of Four Seasons for the winter months. The lake's average water level will decrease by about 2" per day and is anticipated to be lowered by 3.5' by Thanksgiving.

The lowering of the Lake of Four Seasons serves several purposes including allowing safe storage of any winter snow melts, allowing for increased water storage from spring rains, along with allowing lakefront owners the opportunuity to assess both sea walls and docks.

Once the Lake is lowered, the valves are closed and the lake will be permitted to fill to its normal level. Each year a normal level may be reached at various times depending upon weather conditions.
