Grief Hits the Hills

As the beauty of the Hills is alive this morning with the crisp air and the sun peeking over the ridge, I type with a very heavy heart.

In the early hours this past Friday morning, Hide-A-Way Hills lost a very active Member of not only our community, but the golf course community specifically. Scott Hayes, 54 years young, suffered a heart attack early Friday morning and passed away while his wife frantically attempted CPR to no avail.

Over the past years, Scott with his wife by his side, volunteered on our HAH Golf Course with the love, patience, and care that many of us don't apply to our own gardens and lots. With his nightly attention to the our new putting green, golfers now have a brand new practice area. His volunteerism is much appreciated as he will be sorely missed.

Scott's passing reminds us that life is very temporal. Take the time to grab your loved ones and remind them how much they mean to you!
